Lew Sbrana (Founder and Director)
Lew taught band and chorus for 33 years (2 years in Boonville CA and 31 years in Healdsburg) retiring in 1995. He started the New Horizons Band in 1999 with 12 musicians. He  founded the Healdsburg Community Band and has directed the One More Time Band that performs at the Sonoma County Fair.
Lew is frequently a guest conductor at the News Horizons Band Camps, and will be traveling to the Olympia, WA Band Camp in July 2011. Lew directs the Concert Band and the Start-Up Band.

Sid Gordon (Associate Director)
Sid started teaching band and chorus in Weed, CA and then moved to Healdsburg where he preceded Lew directing the band and chorus at HHS. He then moved to Marin County and taught at Redwood High in Larkspur, College of Marin and directed the Marin Symphonic Community Band for almost six years. He retired in 1987. Sid directs the Concert Band.

Ray Walker (Associate Director)
Ray, a retired Santa Rosa public school music teacher, has years of experience not only as an outstanding teacher, but also as a professional performer on saxophone and clarinet as well as an expert arranger. In addition to directing the Concert Band, Ray also directs the Swing Band which performs at many local venues for listening and dancing pleasure.
